At the 14th International Congress of the AMEU (Moroccan Association of Endo-Urology), held in Tangier from February 5 to 7, 2026, AMCUC facilitated the participation of Dr. Celeste Alarcón Lozaiga, an Argentine physician specialising in integrative cannabinoid medicine, who presented the concrete clinical outcomes of the Argentine model in the treatment of urological conditions.
Dr. Alarcón Lozaiga demonstrated how Argentina has successfully integrated cannabinoid treatments into standard medical practice, particularly for chronic pain management and certain refractory urological conditions. Her findings generated strong interest among the Moroccan urologists and healthcare professionals attending the congress.
AMCUC used this platform to call for accelerated adoption of this model in Morocco, stressing that the regulatory and scientific conditions are now in place to move forward. The association reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Moroccan healthcare professionals in this transition toward evidence-based cannabinoid medicine.
