At the 14th International Congress of the AMEU (Association Marocaine d'Endo-Urologie) in Tangier, AMCUC facilitated the presentation by Dr Celeste Alarcón Lozaiga on the Argentine model and its application for urological conditions.

AMCUC organised a scientific conference in Casablanca on the current state of medical cannabis and the challenges of developing cannabis-derived medicines. During the event, it honoured Prof. Abderrahmane Marzougui of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University — a founding partner who has accompanied the association since its inception and published extensively on Cannabis sativa in northern Morocco.
Prof. Rabii Redouane, surgeon and president of AMCUC, delivered a scientific lecture in Casablanca on May 24, 2025 on plant cannabinoids and the therapeutic management of metabolic diseases, illustrating the clinical dimension of the association's scientific engagement.
AMCUC participated in the international CT-Cann2024 congress at the Hilton Canary Wharf in London (May 29–30, 2024), bringing together leading researchers, clinicians and industry professionals in therapeutic cannabis. AMCUC has to date trained more than 600 Moroccan physicians and pharmacists through its KIF TAKWINE programme.
On June 11, 2024 in Casablanca, AMCUC signed two partnership agreements: one with the Federation of Moroccan Pharmacists' Unions (represented by Dr Walid El Omari), providing 4 annual training sessions; and another for training general practitioners in medical cannabis — both under the KIF TAKWINE programme.
Prof. Rabii Redouane presented Morocco's experience in cannabis legalisation at the CannMed congress in Marco Island, Florida (May 15–17, 2023). The AMCUC delegation — physicians, pharmacists, researchers and industry stakeholders — received intensive pre-congress training on May 13–14 across four domains: industry, agriculture, safety testing, and medical science.
